About this blog

St. Thomas Aquinas learning at Christ's feet
Like all human endeavors that are worthwhile, this blog's purpose is to find truth. And of course, when we find truth we must share it with the world.

I know that I do not know everything (in fact, please remind me of this truth continually), but I do know Truth and this is why I want to share Him with you. I do not have a certain topic that I plan to stick to or a certain tone in mind at the moment, but I am sure you will see one evolve over time. Truth is not merely a religious ideal, it's quite useful for other things. As G.K. Chesterton said, "Theology is by far more practical than Chemistry." So this blog will delve into all areas of life no matter how small, because that is exactly what the Gospel does. Truth touches everything, which is exactly why it is attacked from all sides. And so, defending the faith means being ready to talk about everything.

I feel completely inadequate for this task, it is quite scary, but I am comforted by the fact that I do feel called to do this. If you stick around to read my ramblings then I ask you to please pray for me. Before you write to me, or comment, or criticize (all of which I encourage you to do); pray for me. And when you’re done with that, pray for me some more!

Remember, I am doing this with the hope that God uses me to help YOU. I welcome suggestions and ideas all the time. The Catholic writer has a most difficult task; to bring sanity with his insane ranting. I pray that my ranting can bring about some of that Catholic Sanity.

For the time being I am only going to post a full length post once a week on Mondays or Tuesdays. I'll also post shorter remarks on Fridays or whenever something newsworthy comes along. All comments should be kept at PG-13 at the most please.

Any death threats, prayer requests, feedback or ideas can be sent to catholicsanity@yahoo.com

To God alone be the glory!
